In Jan 2003, I approached Dr. Hilgers about doing some research for him. Within days I was in and developing software. A few long meeting later and I started to develop some sensor simulators, but more on that later.

In May 2003, I graduated from Missouri S&T with degrees in Computer Science and Computer engineering. After much debating over being a Comp Sci or Comp Eng Grad Student I decided to enter graduate school on the dark side (Comp Sci). So I am working on my MS in Comp Sci while continuing on this project. In the future, who knows, I am currently considering pursuing a PhD in Comp Sci or going corporate.

Currently I am working on developing software simulators for different types of chemical sensors. So far I have developed a simulator for the MultiRAE Plus PID. I am also working on some HLA interfaces so that the can run in a distributed environment. I also provided the tech support in our lab, running our Linux boxes and picking hardware to run our stuff. Go check out my webpage for more info on my research.

My computer science interests range from hardware software interactions to Artificial intelligence. I'm always looking for a new bit of code to confuse and bewilder graders.
